And to Think that More People Know Who Kim Kardashian Is

Julie Harris is one of the most acclaimed and influential actresses of her generation. She still holds the record for most Tony nominations with 10, and is presently tied with Angela Lansbury for most Tony wins with 5. She also had a stellar film career which included such classics as "The Member of the Wedding" (in which she was nominated for an Oscar), "East of Eden", "Requiem for a Heavyweight", "The Haunting", "Reflections in a Golden Eye", and "The Hiding Place". As Ms. Harris got older, the gal turned her attention to Television and was rewarded in that medium with 3 Emmy Awards. Her most prestigious honor, though, came in 2005, as a Kennedy Center honoree. Julie Harris is an American treasure and, yes, even at the age of 85, the woman continues to work and inspire. God bless her.

  1. Yeah, its pretty damn pathetic. Although I'd easily pick Kim over that serious pile of trash named Snooki.

The chick that been curling the toes of my mental rambling is the late Elizabeth Montgomery.

  2. Elizabeth Montgomery is probably my all-time favorite - with Jane Fonda, Faye Dunaway, and Stephanie Powers, and Courteney Cox running second, third, fourth, and fifth.

  3. Oh Oh Will. You are going to take some heat for mentioning Jane Fonda. Don't you know she is a Communist?

  4. If it didn't bother Ted Turner, it wouldn't bother me.......You saw her in "On Golden Pond", right (the jean shorts, bikini top)?

  5. You're right, I have heard of Kim Kardashian and not this person.

  6. Take an introductory course in Theater and you'll learn about her quickly.

  7. I must be an oddball or something, John. She just doesn't do it for me. Something about the disproportionate size of her lips and boobs, I'm thinking.

  8. Will,
    I've always like Fonda...even in the 70's.

  9. Jerry, I liked her in the 60s ("Barbarella", "Hurry Sundown") and the 80s ("On Golden Pond", "The Morning After"). Yes, she was bangin' good in the 70s, too, except for the hair. Wasn't a big fan of the hair back then.

  10. You know, I believe it was Jerry that made a point about these old bastards that hate Fonda. Not specifically them, but the old bastards that LOVE to talk about their military service(as they are the ones that hate Fonda so much).

Most of those assholes bitched, pissed and moaned the entire time the were enlisted and probably saw no REAL action.

  11. I liked Jane in, now what was it? Barbarella? Or something like that.

Jerry, One can hate the persons politics yet appreciate their beauty and sexiness.

  12. Will, Jolie has a certain unexplainable magnetism about herself.

She can be very alluring and sexy at times.

Even given the lips and boobs.

  13. Don't get me wrong, Les. She's (Jolie) definitely a beautiful woman. I would just much rather go with Courteney Cox, Demi Moore, Ashley Judd, Shania Twain, or Linda Fiorentino when it comes to hot brunettes. It's purely a preference thing.

  14. Will,

I don't know how I can take any of your opinions seriously after you put those girls ahead of Angelina.

  15. I definitely am in the minority on this, huh? LOL
