Will, I disagree that this is "welfare" (as it is not a gift to plunder less of someone's property), that is more of a technicality.
I believe in fairer, flatter tax policies, in which all businesses/enterprises are treated the same.
Put this League Office on the tax rolls. Along, of course, with the political non-charity organizations like the Koch Brothers' mouthpieces, some churches, and the hardline political party fundraising organizations of this era which are called "labor unions".
This company is taxed as if it is a non-profit, yet it rakes in tens of billions in profit.
Goldman-Sachs, recipient of a truly massive federal handout which was funneled into billions in bonuses for the already "in the tiny, much less than 1%" brass.
Again, I strongly support welfare for the poor. I strongly oppose it for those of means, those in the middle class who can cover necessary expenses from their hard-earned income, and especially the ultra-rich.

Was not aware they were tax-exempt. I guess they ARE a religion to lots of folks, though.
